[Feedback - All ok? Problems?] Checking on Wintersday Weapon Distribution
Hey, there,
We've had a few scattered reports of possible problems with the Wintersday Weapon distribution. This is the process of talking with the Xunlai Tournament Agent and either retrieving the weapons that you won, through competition, or won through predicting using the contest interface.
Now remember:
If we do not have your account name (user name, not character name) we cannot make the distribution. Update your information and we'll catch you in a few days when the files are pulled and updated again.
If you were in a small window of time when the system first went into being, you needed to vote again to validate them.
So, here is what we need you to help us with. The fastest solution will come through emailing [email protected] with the followign information:
Game account name. This is your user or log-in name, not your character name.
How many weapons did you qualify to receive? (Do not include the "one free" bonus weapon for taking part. Check the rules for details of how to find out exactly what you're entitled to.)
Did you compete, predict, or both?
When did you make your prediction? (Please give approximate date, time, and time zone, if at all possible.)
How many weapons did you receive?
Thanks for your help in providing this information! Naturally, if you got what you were supposed to get, that info would be helpful, too!

A Support Ticket is great, and if you've done that, it's fine. If you have not, or if you would like to provide the information here as well, that's helpful in resolving the issue. (If you did submit a Support ticket and write here as well, let us know. I will amend the post to ask that question, too.)

i can't provide any of the informaiton as the problem i am having is that my Xunlai tournament house account just does not exist anymore.
I signed up awhile back, made predictions. After the tournament i logged in again to see how i did and realized i didn;t really come close. But then you guys made an announcement that everyone would recieve one weapon for participating. So once you posted the news about when the discirbution will take place i decided to make sure my info was correct (as the articel sugested) but that time i could not log in, nor could i retrieve my password, my account was simply gone. I used the same email for the Tournament house as my account name, and it was still even saved on my computer so i know i didn't enter wrong email.

Signed up for the account very much when the system went live, logged in and found that no bets could be placed yet, and eventually placed my bet approx. 1-2 weeks later.
I opened up a ticket last night at about 10:15 P.M. EST. I opened the ticket to give you a heads up that there may be some people with problems. The last I checked my picks against the results listing I had three correct matches. I can still login with my account on your site and see what I choose and that account name matches my GW login account.

For the life of me though I cannot remember an exact date and time that I logged on and made my selections. But it was like Dralspire above, Signed up for the account very much when the system went live, logged in and found that no bets could be placed yet, and eventually placed my bet a few weeks later.

None.

I had no problems with the agent transactions and received 2 wintergreen weapons total.

By the way, the whole thing was great fun. I know nothing about PvP guilds and still got two correct picks.

I registered before voting could take place and voted the evening before the last day of voting. I am in the MST or GMT -7 hours.

I only received one item, which I assume was for participating.

well, i thought i would not have proof that i actually did register and participate, but i just found the registration email i recieved at the time of registration, so i did have an account and now it's gone. I will make a support ticket for this...
Here's what I've learned. This matter is being investigated actively right now. If you would be so kind, please share the information that you've given me, on the forum, via email to [email protected]. (I would pass it along, but I don't want to ask for user names/game account names in a public forum, and my PM box is perpetually full.)
Please note what our tournament coordinator says:
Many of the people that registered for the Xunlai Tournament House gave us incorrect information. We were able to figure out most of the accounts but there will be some that still need updating.
Players needed to provide their Guild Wars Account Name. This is the email address that they log into the game with. Players can go onto the Xunlai Tournament House web page and update their account at http://www.guildwars.com/competitive...se/default.php.
If they are having trouble logging in to the Xunlai page or if they feel that their information is correct and they are still unable to collect their prizes, please write to [email protected].
Those writing should provide their account name so that we can look it up and find out its status.
He added:
We will look into each and every case. Anyone that feels they are missing any items should first make sure they registered correctly (giving us their game log in email address) and then if they are still missing items, they need to email [email protected] with their specific details.

Thank you for pointing out that that would be a question with the many updates to this thread.
I have updated/edited my initial post, and I think that might answer the question, but in short, we are requesting reports, with the list of questions that I provided plus the user name, to [email protected].

sorry that i couldn't send a report, it wouldn't work for me. but there's my info. and if u could fix it, that would be, awsome, i been waiting for my wintergreen.
How do we know how many we qualified to receive? Did we get that from the Tourney agent (in LA?).
If that's the case, then I just qualified for one (apparently i got none right ) and got one.
Or was there another way to verify the amount?
Note: I have received one wintergreen weapon as a consolation prize for not getting any right, this is not a complaint, just curious as to how I could verify how many I was entitled too.

Gaile I logged a support ticket because I mistakely gave the wrong e-mail address and was told there was nothing they could do to help me
